Dundee Satellite Receiving Station (DSRS) systematically receives and records data from a number of polar orbiting Earth observation satellites and has a long term archive of over 70,000 recordings extending back to 1978. This image gallery contains a selection of high resolution images available from our archives showing the wide range of environmental applications satellite data can be used to monitor.


Snow? THIS is snow

So, once again a few inches of snow falling in 4 or 5 hours has finished us off. This picture, taken by Sarah in Sweden this morning, shows what a couple of hours of snow looks like ..
